NEW NAME. SAME GREAT FLAVOR!
We only did a Pumpkin Spice blend one other time (called The Great Pumpkin) and that was at least a decade ago. But we’ve been asked over and over again to bring it back or have some version of Pumpkin Spice on our tea menu. So we did it! But it’s a very very limited edition blend and we wont be reblending it. So once it sells out, thats it!
We created this in 2025 for Kramers Books & Afterwards Cafe in Dupont Circle, Washington DC for their Literary Afternoon Tea which features a selection of our teas. The name reflects another classic book, this time by Washington Irving. Irving's story, published in 1820, introduces the Headless Horseman as a terrifying specter who haunts the Dutch settlement of Sleepy Hollow. He carries a pumpkin because its the used as a disguise by Brom Bones to frighten Ichadod Crane. We think he coulda used a Pumpkin Spice tea to help him chill out.
This is a nice addition as we welcome in the fall season. And after the tremendous heat we had here on the East Coast, it can’t come soon enough!
