This is a first time offering for us and we couldn’t be more pleased. The only downside is that limited quantity we were able to secure. Monkey Picked refers to quality NOT the training of monkeys to pick teas.
This is a very small batch of a china black tea from the Hunan region. Grown at an altitude of 4000 to 6000 feet above sea level, this is a superior example of a handcrafted tea from that region. A distinctive mellow honey notes with light earth are captivating. One not to miss!
