Direct from the Shizuoka and Kagoshima regions, this roasted green tea is made in the traditional style from mostly stems that are harvested all year. The infusion brews an elegant roasted aroma, medium bodied, transparent and light "woodsy" brown liquid. It also makes a very refreshing iced tea and is lower in caffeine.

Ingredients: Roasted Japanese Green Tea
Directions: Heat 6-8 oz of fresh water (175ºF preferred) over 1/2 -1 teaspoon of tea. Steep 2-3 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Caffeine: Yes. If you are sensitive or have an allergy to caffeine, our suggestion is to skip tea and drink herbal infusions or rooibos.
