If you are looking for fuel to start your day, this is your cup of tea. Bold, robust and an aroma that will knock your socks off. One thing you will notice is that this tea is produced in the CTC style (Cut Tear, Curl) so the leaves are cut into tiny balls almost resembling coffee grounds. CTC teas steep faster and stronger out of the gate and can be bitter if steeped too long. This is the only CTC we carry and for good reason: the complexity of aroma and flavor! We simply love this smooth, aromatic, flavorful tea from Kenya and have a cup almost every morning.

Roughly 40+ cups of tea
Ingredients: Kenyan Black tea (CTC)
Directions: Pour 6 oz. simmering water (212ºF preferred) over 1/2 -1 teaspoon of tea. Steep 1-4 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Caffeine: Some report that white teas are low in caffeine, however, the research we have read suggests its actually quite high. If you are sensitive or have an allergy to caffeine, our suggestion is to skip tea and drink herbal infusions or rooibos.
