NOVA Cat Clinic is devoted to offering cats the best in veterinary care. They are a full service veterinary clinic offering a wide range of services.

The Chris Griffey Memorial Feline Fund was established in the name of Chris Griffey, who was a dedicated team member and friend and spent much of his life helping those on need (both human and animal). The funds raised go to helping will foster kittens at risk with veterinary services and adoption services. The funds are also used to help cat owners with financial hardships.

The Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association (BNCA) is a community focused organization located in the Ward 5 area of DC. They are a grassroots organization run by volunteers.

They champion and support resident issues – some of which are complex and challenging. These include: over-development, saving green spaces, safety and traffic, crime prevention, small business initiatives and working with local council.

Their work is tireless and never-ending.



Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area is one of the over 70 Alzheimer's Association chapters across the country. The National Capital Area Chapter serves people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and their families and caregivers in the District of Columbia, five counties in suburban and Southern Maryland and eleven counties in Northern Virginia.

Their mission: To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
